Relapse Management & Rehabilitation

Effective relapse management and rehabilitation are critical factors affecting the quality of life and ultimate disease outcome for people living with multiple sclerosis.  Authored by Dr. Regina Berkovich, M.D., Ph.D., an MS specialist neurologist at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine MS Center with noted expertise in MS relapse treatment, this program offers education on how to properly identify a relapse and what steps should be taken to prevent a temporary symptom/deficit from becoming a permanent disability. The program also discusses aspects like when to communicate with a healthcare provider, the importance of logging symptoms, and how to turn fear about the disease into motivation and empowerment to take back health.

This program launched Fall 2016.
